Open Heart Ring

Sterling silver carved shank, 22kt gold stone settings and 2 natural Ethiopian opals.  After carving and casting, the ring shank is forged: hardening the metal and creating the necessary tension for it to expand and then return to its shape.  

Each opal is hand selected for its vibrancy of color and each one is slightly different.   The two halves of the heart are chosen based on compatibility but do not need to "match".  Each person's heart ring will be different.

Like any tender heart, this ring must be treated carefully: not exposed to harsh activities or chemicals.  It is sensitive to its environment and should be removed before swimming and bathing.

The band is available in sterling silver or 18kt gold.
